Cornerstone is a newly built guesthouse, set on the foothills of the Piketberg Mountains. You will experience magnificent sunrises over the majestic Winterberg mountains, with the town of Porterville nestled below. Our historic town of Piketberg offers many attractions and shops to explore.


The husband-and-wife team behind this gorgeous Guest House, Carlo, and Thea Cooper are dedicated and excited to welcome you to enjoy their warm hospitality. Carlo is a financial advisor and Thea previously ran a successful Coffee Shop.

About Us

Cornerstone Guest House was the brainchild of Carlo & Thea Cooper. With Thea’s background in the catering and hospitality industry, their attention to detail, passion for people, and dedication to creating a safe, luxurious, and homely space, the beautiful “Guest House-with-a-View” was born.

We offer a optional substantial breakfast, and dinner can be prearranged if needed.
All meals are subject to a surcharge. Our meals are substantial, and examples can be viewed below.

*If you would prefer breakfast “to go” please book the “breakfast box” option when making your booking.
This is a pre-packaged option.


*Please make additional meal arrangements (lunch/dinner) at least 24 hours in advance if necessary.
